Valentines Day

Well the last post was supposed to be funny, but I guess sarcasm doesn't come through my writing very well.

Everyone seems to be doing a Valentines blog, so I think I will join the masses and do one too.

Our Valentines day started out with us sleeping in until about 10 AM. Which was really nice because of one thing or another I haven't been able to sleep in for a while now. Brian helped push a friends car out of the snow and I picked up the house, getting ready for some friends to come over and play games. About eight of us got together and played Girls vs. Guys Cranium. The girls were dominating, but ended up loosing by a question that is still undetermined whether the girls answered correctly before the boys. We then packed into cars and headed up to Stowe to eat dinner at a Mexican Restaurant.

(Left to Right: Chelsea, Jake, Casey, Tyler, Tera, Scott, Nicole, Brian)
I had to beg the waitress to take the photo, so she snapped it really quick, plus the lighting is bad

After the yummy food we decided that we wanted to go dancing or to karaoke. We found a bar that was packed. They had a live band so went on in. I beat Brian in pool, which was a first time thing. Brian usually has all the balls in before I even get a turn. We danced a little and then they had a limbo contest for Skis. I decided I needed those skis so I entered the contest. I was doing really well (I have never limbod before) and it ended up being me and another guy as the last two people standing. We went under a couple of times and kept falling, I almost made it once but fell at the last second. It was a tight race, although the guy was 4 inches shorter than me. He ended up wining but I did get some hats for me and my friends.

Yes, that's me - my hair was really curly that day.

The band ended up leaving pretty early so we headed back to our house for a dance party! I have never had a dance party before, but it was pretty fun. We moved the furniture in our living room and turned up the music really loud (We live in the middle of nowhere and neither of our only neighboors were home), then we ended the night with a Guitar Hero Battle.

It was a really fun Valentines day, different than the usually couples mushy stuff, but I had a blast!

I can't believe you guys are guitar hero people. Man, so much has changed over the past year! What ever happened to Dr. Mario and American Dream?

We do still play American Dreams and all the other board games we have. It's funny that you ask about Dr. Mario, because I tried to convince everyone they wanted to have a Dr. Mario competition, but I was out voted to Guitar Hero. Dan, you like rock music right? You might really like Guitar Hero...would you you like it in a box...with a Fox? (J/K)
