New "Dog" Park
There are no dog parks here in Vermont but we have found an area that is what we like to refer to as our New "Dog" Park. It is very large field that we are allowed to take the dogs, it runs along the White River and there is a lot of space for the dogs to run, away from the roads. There are many large open areas where the dogs could run, but a lot of Vermont is restricted - no dogs, a lot of hikes around here are that way too, I was very surprised. Here are some photos of us at the New "Dog" Park.
As my last post stated, I started running and it has been going very well. Yesterday I stepped it up to four miles. I'm hoping to run that for another week or so and than step it up to five miles. I have found running to be much more enjoyable than I remember it being. Maybe because Vermont is so pretty. I did sign up for two - 10K runs. One is at the beginning of May, called the Tuck Run for the Kids (http://mba.tuck.dartmouth.edu/pages/clubs/run4kids/) and the other one is in June, called the Run for Empowerment! Murder Mystery Dinner
I've been planning to do a Murder Mystery Dinner. My mom bought an unused Murder Mystery Game at Goodwill and sent it to me. It was set in the 80's and the theme was Wall Street. It was a lot of fun so I will have to keep my eyes open for another thrift store Murder Mystery Game (Since you can only use it once, I think they are too pricey to purchase at full price). I will introduce you to the guests:
Bike Update
All put together, but missing the wheels. Brian is having trouble with a wheel that he bought on E-bay, the seller is just not sending it. He has a dispute in, but it is taking a while, as soon as he gets his money back he will purchase new wheels and the bike will be ready to ride. Brian can't wait - the gorgeous weather outside is taunting him.

Wow! You've been busy, I mean look at Brian's bike, he works almost as quickly on projects as I do. I don't get how nature-happy places like Vermont have so many restrictions on dogs. Makes you miss Vegas, doesn't it?
hey, when you get yourself worked up to a marathon let me know and I will do one with you. If dad & I are still employed, I will even pay your entrance fee!!!
