Brian keeps telling me that he is going to update the blog, but has yet to do that, so I will do a quick update and hopefully in the next couple of days Brian will post a blog.
About a month ago, we had a heat wave in Vermont. It was hotter here that day, than it was in Las Vegas. It was about 80 degrees outside so we decided to go hiking.

We hiked Mount Tom and the Pogue. Well, actually we just hiked to the south peak and back. Brian had a lot of homework or finals to prepare for so we only had a couple of hours to spend. It really reminded me of Las Vegas and I must say I miss Vegas.

A friend I met at work, Alicia and I taking a break on the hike.
As I mentioned a couple of posts ago, I have been running so I decided to run a 10K. I run every other day, 4 miles each run. I had a choice of a 5K or a 10K. I regularly run more than a 5K, I didn't think that a couple more miles (a 10K) would be that much of a big deal.

Anne, Alicia, Jett and myself. Anne and Alicia ran the 5K and Jett and I ran the 10K.
I got food poisoning two weeks before the run and then I hurt my hip, so I only ran twice in the two weeks leading up to the 10K and I must admit, I don't think I was quite ready for it. I wanted to run a 9 minute mile average and I did well to the three mile mark, but after that I went drastically down hill and ended up runing the 10K in 1 hour 4 mins and 41 seconds.

Wow, I look very tired. It was warm outside and I was extremely hot (it was 70 degrees outside).

Melissa, Jett, Alicia and myself after the race. (Litterally 30 seconds after I finished the race - Alicia looks great, like she didn't even run at all - so funny!) I hope to do much better at my next 10K at the end of June.
This past weekend Brian's parents came up to Vermont to see him graduate with his Master's in Environmental Law & Policy. (He won't actually get his degree until August - he has some summer courses to take).

This is the precesion from Vermont Law School to the Green in South Royalton. The bagpipe player is wearing a kilt that looks like the Anderson Family Plaid.

Brian is looking so serious as he walks up to be hooded.

I didn't catch the whole tradition, but Alicia and Joel gave brian a lei for graduation. Thanks Guys!
After all of the graduation hoopla we went to Woodstock and walked around with Brian's Parents.

I thought this was a funny picture because Brian looks so grumpy.
To end the post, Bandit will give you a kiss.

I just love that he looks like he has lips like a human.
