Food

We have been trying to eat better lately and we have found that buying fresh foods is actually cheaper than purchasing processed foods. We have tried a bunch of new recipes; Eggplant caserrole, vegitable and rice stuffed peppers, vegetable pizza, roasted vegitable fettuccine alfredo (actually it was spaghetti noodles) and twice baked zucchini. The recipe to try tonight is eggplant burgers on roasted french bread. I'll let you know if it is good.

But what I'm really excited about is...
I have discovered a new Favorite Treat. We were window shopping in the mall one evening and there was a kiosk called Doc Popcorn. They sell all different flavors of popcorn. It was only a couple of bucks for a huge bag of a flavor of my choice.I choose Carmel Popcorn. MMMM! It was delicious. It lasted us a couple days, but I was hooked. I try to convince Brian that it should be part of our new "Healthy" eating and we need to buy more of it, after all it is called DOC popcorn. It is popped daily so it doesn't have any preservatives in it. It is also made with whole grain kernels and all natural butter, so it is a healthier snack, but Brian isn't convinced.

You should find out if you have a Doc Popcorn near you and taste some for yourself!

All the recipes you listed are vegetarian sounding... Are you guys vegetarians? I didn't know that. I say I am gonna eat healthy. One day, I will. I promise :)
