Earlier in the year the school had a sale on lift passes, since Brian has a season pass to Killington/Pico we decided to purchase 2 tickets to Pico so that I could go skiing with him at a decent price. Time seems to be flying by so we thought we better make a plan to go skiing. We decided to go today earlier in the week. When I looked up the weather things were shaping up really nicely to go skiing, it was supposed to get up to 30 degrees on Friday and was supposed to snow on Thursday and Friday, but as we got closer to the weekend the temperatures dropped.
It was 20 degrees on the Mountain today but with the windchill it felt like 5 degrees and then as we ski down the mountain that adds wind so we we were cold. We could only ski for an hour and a half and then we had to go inside to get warmed up again and then we would go back out for a little longer. Finally by 2PM, we were officially frozen so we decided to head home. I was disappointed because I wanted to get the most out of my ski pass, but I couldn't feel my nose, fingers or toes and I was shivering.

Normally you get a little cold on the lifts and then on your run down the hill you warm back up again, but these lifts were really slow and old so I dreaded getting back on the lift.

The mountain was really small and most of the runs were pretty flat, so we were able to ski the whole mountain in the short amount of time we did ski. At the top of the mountain (where it was the coldest) it was gorgeous. These pictures do not do it justice. But everything was snow covered and you could see the mountains around you through the fog.

I'm trying to "get in close" for the picture, but it just looks like I'm falling down.

BRRRRR it's cold!
** For those of you who are wondering how my knee did. I got a really simple knee brace/strap for six bucks from Wal-mart and it's like I'm back to my old skiing self. I could still feel a little ache, but nothing that was affecting my skiing ability or the amount of time I could ski for. It was wonderful!
