Movin On

We have decided to move from Vermont. We will be making our way back out west, to Colorado. Brian decided for many different reasons, that I will let him blog about later, that he does not want to be a lawyer any more. I'm really glad he figured that out before we got too far in to the schooling and debt (I'm secretly glad - I'm tired of being in school).

But don't worry, this year was not wasted, Brian was able to get his Masters Degree. He got his Masters in Environmental Law and Policy.

Some things that I will miss about Vermont is all the traveling we got to do while we were here. The New England area is so close together and there is so much to see and explore. I will also miss all the farmers markets and produce stands, my sister in Boston and the cremes - 24 flavors of soft serve ice cream. I think there is always a lot to miss from every place you leave, but there is also a lot you are ready to change.

But the worst part of moving is always the friends you have to leave and usually the best plans to see each other never work out, life gets in the way. So much time is spent cultivating such fun relationships and its always hard to start over, what if you never find that group of people or those friends that you "click" with, that you like to surround yourself with? And even if you do find new friends, they will never be the same as the ones you had to leave. Yes, that is the worst part and even with all the moving I have done, it never gets easier.

You going to be ski bums for the year in Colorado and then move on out to Cali? That sounds like an AWESOME IDEA!!!
